We all know how it feels to enter a room and not know anyone. For some of us, the first thing we do is reach for our phones to make ourselves look busy so we don't look helpless while everyone else mingles. We built Awkward Penguin to make the phone a device to bring people together instead of making it an excuse to not interact with others.
Awkward Penguin allows you to attend or create your own event. After creating your profile and entering short facts about yourself, you can see what you have in common with others, giving you a good starting point for a conversation. You can also invite others to play an mini game called "Break the Ice". Using SpriteKit and Multipeer Connectivity, you play as characters trying to break through the ice of a frozen lake to reach the fish below.

As a CrossFitter, I noticed that most crossfit apps were clunky and poorly designed. As a result, I designed StandardWOD, a simple iOS app that contains some of the most intense CrossFit workouts. You can time, save, and share your results on Facebook and Twitter.
I also directed and shot a promotional video to be used while marketing the app.
Now available in the App Store.
Whoop Axe is a vigilante crime fighter who chugs maple syrup and chops bullets in half. Stop thugs from taking over the city by thwarting their heists, on chop at a time.
I wanted to create a game similar to Fruit Ninja, but with more of a plot. Whoop Axe chops bullets in half, subdues villians by tying and stacking them like logs in the back of his truck, and chugs maple syrup to boost his health.

Working alongside film maker Seth Worley, I've had the opportunity to create logos for fake pizza companies to diners. I've also created title marks for a few of Red Giant's films as well.
I also play the pizza guy in a few of these. Don't ever order pizza from me, you won't get it in time.
